Marine Ropes
Marine ropes are specialized for maritime use, including mooring, towing, anchoring, and rigging
:They come in two main types
Synthetic Ropes: Made from polypropylene (floats, lightweight), nylon (strong, elastic), polyester (durable, UV-resistant), and HMPE (high-performance, low-stretch)
Natural Fiber Ropes: Manila (flexible, UV-resistant), coir (lightweight), and hemp/cotton (traditional but less durable)
Key properties include tensile strength, abrasion resistance, UV and chemical resistance, and buoyancy
