Specification: Fiber core (FC), Ungalvanized Core Type
Lift Systems normally have two types of motors: Gearless and Gearbox included. Correspondingly, Wire Rope should be chosen technically appropriated. of gear lock.
: Technical information of wire rope for lifts with low-speed motor gearbox are as below
Construction: 8 × 19S (9/9/1) FC
Type of Band: Normal Right hand Turn (RHOL or RHRL)
Tensile: 1570 N/mm2(160 kgf/mm2) & 1770 N/mm2(180 kgf/mm2)
Standard: BS302, EN 12385 -4, DIN 3062
Type of Lubricant: Cardium Compound Fluid
The most commonly used diameter of wire rope in motor gearbox structure is 10 and 11 mm with the
construction technical details of 8 * 19 s which is highly friction resistant. Core type is FC due to the standards which causes high flexibility. Normally RHOL structure is utalized with minimum use of oil. This wire rope is regularly used in 500m to 1000m reels.
Based on the Widely spread standards, every single string of wire rope connected to the cabin and the weight has to bear as close as 5 times the weight of the cabin. For not high towering buildings with low speed, 4to 5 string of Fibre elevating wire rope (No. 10) is used
:Floors’ (Stations) number
6 Floors (stations): 4 strings of No. 10 FC Lifting wire rope
7-10 Floors (stations): 5 strings of No. 10 FC lifting wire rope
11-15 Floors (stations): 5 strings of No. 11 FC lifting wire rope
